In January of 2020, it was the expectation that hospitals and emergency departments would implement a package of best practices to help decrease suicide, also known as the National Patient Safety Guideline 15.01.01. As of March 2024, “a significant gap in the implementation of recommended practices” was identified nationally. This conversation will explore NPSG 15.01.01 and ask participants to provide their own insights and experiences in trying to drive this quality care.
