About the webinar: As the volume of adult persons who are neurodivergent presenting to emergency departments in psychiatric crisis increases, clinicians responsible to help manage the crises must expand their knowledge and education to provide appropriate care recommendations. This knowledge must include both diagnostic knowledge, but also an understanding of community resources-what they are/how to access them. Unfortunately, the literature shows that far too many clinicians report they lack specific training with this population. This critical conversation will engage participants to share knowledge and sources of support to address the knowledge gaps we have when it comes to best practice care delivery.
